I have been a student of the Degerberg Academy (DA) since 1996 and have trained under Sam Colonna (Windy City Gym/Chicago Boxing Club) since 1999 first as a boxer, now trainer. An AT&T employee for 23 years, Married to Mike and have a daughter Sahara, now 24.   

I received my 1st degree Black Belt in 2003, 2nd degree in 2005 and 3rd degree in 2008.  

I earned the rank of Blue Glove in Savate, White Ring in Muay Thai, Intermediate Level I Kali, Intermediate Level II Jun Fan under Guru Ron Balicki. Numerous Degerberg awards including multiple "Warrior Spirit' awards.

4 Time Chicago Golden Glove Champion, Weekend War Kickboxing Amateur experience, Professional Boxing record of 10-2-1 and Former WIBA Americas Lightweight champion.

Currently Level II certified USA Boxing amateur coach and Professionally licensed boxing second.  Current trainer of amateur and professional fighters.

Teach Blend class, boxing and bootcamp at Degerberg Academy of Martial Arts (Tues/Thurs PM), boxing classes at New Breed Jiu Jitsu Academy (Mon/Wed 8PM) and assist Sam Colonna at Chicago Boxing Club (Saturday AM).

I have been a student of the Degerberg Academy of Martial Arts & Fitness (DA) since 1994.  In 1998 I received my first degree Black Belt in a blend of martial arts and in 2009 my 5 degree Black Belt.   

I have also trained in Savate, a French Boxing art and in 2004 I and earned the highest rank of Silver Glove.   In 2003, I was the first runner up in the National Savate Assault Championship.   

I am ranked in Degerberg International as a 3 degree black belt and also hold the rank of Intermediate Student in Jun Fan, White Ring in Thai Boxing, 3 degree brown belt in an Okinawan style of Karate and a yellow belt in the art of Kenpo Karate.   

In 2011 I became a certified personal trainer and am also a level I certified USA Boxing amateur coach and a Professionally licensed boxing second.   

Currently I am teaching a bootcamp class, boxing classes, women’s boxing/kickboxing class, martial arts blend class and personally train several clients.  Along with Rita, we are training amateur boxing students so they can compete in the 2012 Golden Gloves.   

I have also been self-employed as an attorney for 28 years and am married to George have a daughter Alexandra, now age 22, who is also an Instructor Black Belt at Degerberg Academy.
